October 18, 2011 -- Biocitech SAS, the Paris life science technology park, is helping set up a new incubator, Bondy Innovation, in the
eastern Paris area. Working with local authorities and other bodies involved in R&D, Biocitech will make available its expertise to
encourage innovative activities that will help boost the local economy. This is a new step for the science park which wishes to increase its
involvement in start-ups from the moment they are created.
The new incubator will also develop contacts and activities with countries in the world’s tropical zones, with the aim of generating
mutually beneficial projects in the life science and other fields.
Bondy Innovation will offer a structured, secure environment to entrepreneurs and reinforce links between the local technology
community and other R&D hotspots in and around Paris.
“Setting up Bondy Innovation is a major step forward for the development of biotechnology in the Paris region,” said Jean-François
Boussard, president of Biocitech. “As well as providing high standards of laboratory and office space for its residents, Biocitech wants to
be involved in creating a favorable environment for companies from day one of their existence.”
