  • 1909: Gaston Roussel discovers Hemostyl®
  • 1920: The ISH (Institute of Hematopoietic Serotherapy) created
  • 1927: Establishment of the UCLAF (Usine Chimique des Laboratoires Français)
  • 1935 : Rubiazol®, a synthetic anti-infective brought to market
  • 1947: SOFRAPEN (the French Society of Penicillin) sets up
  • 1952: Sale of Cortancyl®, cortisone obtained by hemisynthesis
  • 1952: The Roussel-UCLAF group is created combining ISH, SOFRAPEN and UCLAF
  • 1972: Death of J.C. Roussel. Hoechst takes financial control
  • 1982: The State takes a major stake in Roussel-UCLAF
  • 1992: The State sells its stake in Rhône-Poulenc
  • 1993: Merger with Hoechst
  • 1995: The Hoechst-Marion-Roussel (HMR) division is created
  • 2000: Aventis created, founded out of a merger between HMR and the pharmaceutical branch of Rhône-Poulenc
  • 2003: Biocitech Park created. Proskelia, Roowin and Eco-Solution set up first offices in the Park
  • 2004: Arrival of Novexel, Cellectis, Expertise & Consulting, Kiralya, Mutabilis and Oroxcell
  • 2005: Discngine, Biodoxis, Endotis and Sibio set up offices
  • 2006: Structuralis, Ijina and Theraptosis join the Park
